My favorite trade:
My favorite trade for the Brooklyn Nets was sending a plethora of players with TWO FIRST ROUND PICKS. I really love to see Dame and KD in the same lineup. Who would get the final shot in a close game? I think Dame has the handle in that situation more than KD has in the past.
Makes most sense for both teams:
The Lakers getting Kyrie Irving and Cam Thomas would be huge. The Nets would be getting Russell Westbrook with 3 FIRST ROUND PICKS. I don’t know if the Lakers have that many draft picks to give up, but they should be trading some players for pick in order to get Kyrie on the team.
Lopsided trade:
I would say the P.J. Tucker and Duncan Robinson get outweighed by Joe Harris. When Harris was healthy, he was a bonified shooter. The Miami Heat get one of the best 3-point shooters in the league. The Nets also get two solid players from the Heat.
Most likely to happen:
I think the most likely trade to happen will be the Mitchell Robinson and Nic Claxton trade. The Nets would get a cheaper player in this position. The Knicks are also getting a FIRST ROUND PICK and a SECOND ROUND PICK.
Will never happen:
I believe Simmons will get traded but not anytime soon. I think a great trade would be Marcus Smart and Derrick White being sent to Boston. In return the Celtics would get Ben Simmons and a FIRST ROUND DRAFT PICK. All in all, I don’t think anyone will give Simmons another chance until he plays next season.
