Pat Connaughton has signed a three-year $28 million to remain with the Bucks through the 2025-26 season.
Connaughton since signing with Milwaukee in 2018, has been a vital player coming off the bench for Coach Mike Budenholzer. The leader of the “Bench Mob.” Connaughton brings instant energy with his ability to knockdown open threes, and being able to guard bigger wings.
Connaughton had a career year last season averaging 9.9 points, 4.2 rebounds and 1.3 assists in 65 games. Connaughton also shot the ball at a 39 percent clip.
With the signing of Connaughton, Milwaukee has re-signed all of its core guys from last year’s team (Bobby Portis, Jevon Carter, Wesley Matthews and Serge Ibaka) With these signings, Milwaukee has chosen to run it back, and I agree with the moves. Remember Milwaukee was a Khris Middleton injury away from facing the Heat in the Eastern Conference Finals and I believe the Bucks would have faced off against the Warriors in the NBA Finals.
With all of that being said, BRING ME OCTOBER.
