Yankees Rewind: 8/1-8/7/22

Hey Sports fans, with the trade deadline only being one day away, the Yankees made some major trades today.

They acquired (RHP) Scott Effross from The Chicago Cubs. In return they sent (RHP) Hayden Wesneski to Chicago.

They also acquired (RHP) Frankie Montas and (RHP) Lou Trevino from The Oakland A’s. In return the Yankees sent (LHP) Ken Waldichuk, (LHP) JP Sears, (RHP) Luis Medina, and second basemen Cooper Bowman back to the A’s.

Hopefully, with all these dealings that (GM) Brian Cashman has made, it will bring the Yankees one step closer to the “Big Game”.
